Day 1, Kampala to Murchison falls
The guide will pick you up from an agreed location in Kampala, Entebbe or the airport and transfer to Murchison falls national park. En-route, you can opt for an optional visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – the only place where you can see Rhinos in Uganda.
Proceed to Masindi for lunch and continue to Murchison falls national park arriving in the afternoon. You will enter the park through Kichumbanyobo gate and visit the top of the falls after which you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Fort Murchison Lodge or Paraa Safari Lodge for luxury.
Day 2,Game drive and launch cruise
Breakfast will be served early and go for a game drive in hope of seeing some of the big five including lions, buffaloes and elephants. Giraffes are a common sight including other small game like antelopes, impalas and primates like the baboons.
Have lunch and in the afternoon, go for a launch cruise on the park’s unique Murchison falls where you will come up close with hippos and a serried range of giant crocodiles. The launch cruise also presents bird viewing opportunities. Dinner and overnight at the lodge as above.
Day 3,Departure/Return to Kampala
Enjoy your breakfast; thereafter proceed for another Game drive in the morning on your way back to Kampala. It will be a great time as you look out for various animal species though most of them will be seen in the grasslands feeding such as buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, not forgetting a number of bird species. Leave the park, have a stop in Masindi for lunch and continue with the journey reaching Kampala in the evening.
